Ceramic Functional & Altar Platters

Description

This is the same glaze as the large expensive platters, but in a smaller more “usable” size. Unhappy with the way Ann always ended up getting wax on the carpet from candles during meditation or an evening at home, she created platters that can be used for candles and other items. These plates are quite functional, and can be used for cheese and crackers as well. They are made out of natural Hawaiian red clay, and fired twice– a bisque firing and then a second firing with the signature glaze Ann uses, Oasis blue crystal with a patent leather black glaze on the back. You can use these for the mail, food (as long as it’s not acidic like salsa) or just to sit in the corner or center of the table and look gorgeous.
