Description
Ann has been making theses ceramic bowls for over 15 years now. They are started with a slab that is formed over a plaster mold, then pounded into it a texture on the outside. Then a three sided foot is made and attached to the bowl, and the whole thing is left to dry till it is leather hard, then turned, and a hand rolled coil is attached for beauty and strength. Then the bowl is fired twice, second time with glazes. Each bowl is one of a kind for the crystal glazes inside melt & change in a different ways in each individual bowl. The bowls shown are one of a kind and currently for sale.
