Medium Bowl with Oasis Blue Glaze

This is the most favorite glaze that Ann uses, and it sells the most! A photograph really does not do this piece justice, since it is so luscious and vibrant. The glaze is a black glaze with crystals of turquoise blue inside it that melt when a certain temperature is reached in the kiln. Therefore, it can only be fired once to create this sumptuous color and pattern.

This particular piece is a medium size bowl, but can be ordered in any of the sizes bowls come in. Just adjust for 4 weeks to make the bowl from date of order. Also, Ann has made several sinks out of this glaze, and while it isn’t easy to take care of, it is truly breathtaking in the scenario. This picture is looking straight down into the bowl.
